Isabella Arguello is a painter, photographer, videogapher & ceramist. While originally from Nicaragua she is currently based in Oklahoma City. 

 

Isabella studied Fine Arts at Penn State University, where she started to develop her own style in her paintings. Well known for her use of bold colors, texture and black-ink drawings. 

 

A couple of years after graduation, she started to experience with film photography. Isabella continues to develop her practice mostly when traveling and meeting other people. She recently started to shoot her own videos with a camcorder, hoping to create small films. 

 

About a year ago, when she moved to Oklahoma, Isabella started to engage with pottery. She continues to practice in her home studio. Her goal is to take an intensive course and continue to learn from artisanal masters. 

 

She is inspired by history, culture and nature. Isabella is interested in seeing new places and learning from locals. She is determined to share her experiences with her audience through her artwork.
